My husband and I started using Mvelopes three years ago, as he was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. The ability to be able to track our budget together, thousands of miles apart, really appealed to us.

The most satisfying aspect of these developments has concerned our young son. Upon moving, we discovered that his preschool would no longer be subsidized. Severe delays in speech and all other areas require his attendance in such a program. We were faced with the seemingly impossible task of carving out several hundred extra dollars from our already tight budget. With Mvelopes, we can plainly see how much money is being spent and where. Through this amazing resource, we've been able to divert the funds from our operating budget, whittling away at the spending category envelopes until we found enough to send our boy to his program.
